ACCA – Programme Structure
ACCA programme consists of 3 levels with 13 exams plus online Ethics and Professional Skills module.
Fundamentals Level (9 exams)
The Applied Knowledge introduces students to the core area of financial and management accounting, providing the platform from which the other technical accountancy areas will be studied in greater detail.
The Applied Skills contains 6 exams which comprehensively cover the main technical areas that any accountant, regardless of their future career aspirations, is expected to have mastered.

The focus of the syllabuses at this level is to build upon the technical skills already acquired and explore more advanced professional skills, techniques and values that are required and used by the expert accountant acting in an advisory or consultancy role at a senior level.

ACCA – Entry Requirement
1. STPM / equivalent
2 C+ PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
2. GCE A Level
2 D PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
3. Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
5 Bs inclusive of Mathematics and English
4. Diploma (Accounting and Business related)
- Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
- Completed with certificate
- Exemptions up to 9 papers in ACCA.
6. Certified Accounting Technician (CAT)
Pass ALL 9 papers
Exemptions will be awarded for ACCA F1, F2 and F3.
7. Matriculation / Foundation
Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent
Credit for SPM / 1119 / O-Level English; minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 6 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL.
Malaysian students who do not possess the English requirement stated above, will have to attempt and pass a compulsory English module concurrently in the first semester of CAT programme.
