Course Structure

The 13 ACCA exams are divided into 3 levels – Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills and Strategic Professional.

The Applied Knowledge exams provide students with a broad introduction to the world of finance and develop students’ essential understanding and techniques in accounting.

The Applied Skills exams build on existing knowledge and understanding while developing strong, broad and practical
finance skills required for future strategic professional accountant in any sector or industry.

LW         Corporate & Business Law (MYS)
PM         Performance Management
TX          Taxation (MYS)
FR          Financial Reporting
AA         Audit & Assurance
FM         Financial Management

The Strategic Professional exams prepare students for future leadership positions. They develop the strategic vision using students’ unique blend of technical, ethical and professional skills. Students can specialize in areas that best suit their career ambitions. Students must complete both Essentials exams and choose two of the Options.

EPSM is an online learning module that tests students’ decision making and behavior in a number of real-world business scenarios. The module uses realistic business simulations to develop a number of professional skills such as leadership, communication and commercial awareness.

Bahasa Kebangsaan A is compulsory for all Malaysian students:-

  • Without a credit in SPM Bahasa Malaysia
  • Without SPM Bahasa Malaysia (applicable to students from UEC, O Level, or other equivalent programs)


Entry Requirement

1. A Levels

  • 2 Ds PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent


  • 2 C+s PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent

3. Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)

  • 5 Bs inclusive of Mathematics and English

4. Diploma (Accounting and Business related)

  • Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 

5. Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) / ACCA FIA

  • Passed all 9 (CAT) or 7 (ACCA FIA) papers. 

  • Exemptions will be awarded for ACCA BT, MA and FA. 

6.  Foundation Studies / Matriculation

  • Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 PLUS Credit in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent

7. Degree

  • Pass
  • Exemptions up to 9 papers in ACCA

English Requirement:-

Credit for SPM / 1119 / O-Level English; minimum score of Band 4 in MUET, Band 6 in IELTS, or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL.

Malaysian students who do not possess the English requirement stated above, will have to attempt and pass a compulsory English module concurrently in the first semester of ACCA FIA program
